Whirlpool bath tubs are soaker tubs fitted with piping, an electric pump and water jets. Using an underwater suction fitting and several water jets, the pump circulates the water through the pipes. Water is actually drawn from the bath suction by a pump which circulates the water around the bath to the jets.
