Atlantica is a compactly-designed tub that is the perfect complement to other amenities commonly found aboard yachts. It measures only 50” L x 34- 3/4” D x 24” H and yet positions the bather quite comfortably due to its ergonomically engineered interior.

The Atlantica model shown here was born when LP Architects of Falmouth, England commissioned MTI to custom-build a tub for a client’s yacht. The client wanted a whirlpool similar to a Hinoki bath, but there was very limited space in the plan for the yacht’s master bath area.

LP Architects provided MTI with the dimensions of the available space and the requirements: a remotely mounted pump; in-line heater; a thermo-air massage system; 6-jet whirlpool hydrotherapy system; chromatherapy provided by underwater digital LED lighting effects; and the electronic Simple Touch™ cleaning system for the internal plumbing system. The end result was a beautiful and surprisingly comfortable bath.
